Using the latest scientific research and years of experience, I have designed a training plan that will enhance your cardiac output (increased stroke volume) as well as increase your mitochondrial function. In the end, this will be reflected by your 5 minute maximal power (5' power correlates very strongly with power at VO2 max). 

 

This block can be used at any time of year. However, I do suggest prioritizing VO2 max training either earlier in the competition year or after a primary competition when you'll have a long run up to your next primary competition.
